How to do Aperol Spritz

Aperol Spritz is an orange drink from the Veneto region in Italy. Today, it has become a worldwide fever, becoming a classic appetizer accompaniment not only in Venice, but also in cities like Milan and Paris.

This drink is not difficult to do, you just need to use the correct ingredients and do not miss the dose.

According to the International Bartenders Association, the ingredients of Aperol Spritz are:

  1. Prosecco (Attention! As with Champagne, not all sparkling wines can carry the name Prosecco)
  2. Aperol
  3. Seltz (sparkling water)
  4. Ice (no more than 5 cubes of ice)
  5. A slice of orange

The correct doses of spritz are:

3 parts of Prosecco 2 parts of Aperol 2 parts of Sparkling Water

How to do it: Put the ice in the glass first, add the Prosecco, the sparkling water, and finally the aperol. It is important to put aperol last because it is heavier and tends to stay in the bottom of the glass. Put the slice of orange.

You can serve in a glass of red wine.
